Each piece is wheel thrown by hand and can vary slightly in size and colour from one to the next. YYY does not use holds (even though sometimes it may look like it!). These pieces are also dipped, not sprayed for glaze so variations and streak lines within the glaze is normal.
Variations are to be embraced by the uniqueness of each piece and the nature of ceramic arts.
Most colour ways are represented on this line sheet, though a discussion about colour and combinations together is always encouraged as there are a lot of possibilities!
Please note that the mother of pearl is a lustre (which is a third firing) and works well on pieces no bigger than the bud vase (i.e. cups are good, or the lid of a teapot ect.) and there is a $1-$2 extra charge for the mother of pearl per piece.
Most items are made to order so lead times are generally 2 - 12 weeks depending on the size of order and where the order is in the que. It is a first order in, first order made system. Estimated shipping date will be provided upon order confirmation. Shipping is to be paid by purchaser.
Minimum order $300
All orders below $1000 are payment upon delivery. Orders exceeding $1000 require a 30% deposit before the start of production; balance due on delivery. Credit card (3% fee), cheque to Mérida Anderson, or interac e-transfer (to email: meridakcanderson@gmail.com)
No returns are accepted, except in the case of damage by shipping. Please contact us within a week of received shipment of any defects. Please document if a box comes to you damaged.
